Applications may be submitted to the Building Department through the portal by following the instructions listed to the right. Permits submitted through the portal are not valid until approved by the Building Department and all applicable fees have been paid. Online payment is not yet available but coming soon. Current payment options: cash, check, credit card (via phone, see number above) Payments can be dropped off at or mailed to the City of Barberton Finance Department located at 104 3rd St NW. Fill out all required fields on application.
Upload required plans or any additional documentation to support your application.
Once the application has been submitted it will be reviewed. Permits are not automatically valid after submission through the portal. A representative from the Building Department will contact you with an approval, denial, or a request for more information.
